Go anywhere and do anything. Maybe make the Wrangler fans a little mad while you’re at it.

They’re awesome, but the proportions always get to me a little. They’re a lot better in person.

No idea what that is...

I think I see a Lexus emblem peeking out over the front light bar, maybe an older LX570? (hesitant because many know cars better’n I)

Huh, I can’t see any emblem. Good eyes!

That was the whole idea behind these. That pic was before the 3" body lift and 35x12.50 tires.
Dammit I miss that thing..

I don’t think the die hard Wrangler guys could care less about trucks like this.
I have a Wrangler, and I love the overland style SUVs, but they’re pretty much the opposite type truck that the Wrangler is (bare bones, no frills offroading). Although I think putting that style snorkel on a gas powered car is a little silly.
Those guys you see with a whole catalogue bolted on to their Jeeps would probably be jealous though. You could have a competition over whose “offroader” is cleaner.

Lexus Gx470. Based off the 4runner but has a 2UZ, 4wd, and leather stock. Those 3 options together I’ve only ever seen on 2-4 4runner’s so it’s an easy way to get the most comfortable overland rig

It’s a Gx470 with the 2UZ

With the lift and the bumper I think the proportions are greatly improved

I’ve seen a nice one in person, similar to the one in this picture. It is still weird to me.

Solid. It looks like is was a pretty good build

I like them but I would have to use it as DD at this point, if I could get a diesel in it, maybe. I really want a 2 door classic range rover with an Isuzu swap but those are comfy.

Gen 1's look so awesome on pathfinder wheels. I miss mine, I love my 2nd gen but i think i’ll always miss the first.

I don’t get the craze for a diesel swap I mean yeah it would be nice for the extra torque but the ease of gas power is hard to beat.
A two door Range Rover would be a wonderful addition to any garage

Well the first reason is the original engine is an unreliable POS, I would never trust. The diesel in the Isuzus is very reliable. The prevalence of the kits in the UK must be for a good reason.

You mean for the Range Rover right? The gas in the GX470 I didn’t think was a pos

Oh right, well I would have to do an analysis of the engines in Japan and determine if it would be good to do for a GX that might have huge amount of miles.

don not know its connection to the 4runner, do know it is know as the Land Cruiser Prado around the world, available with a manual transmission and diesel engine

Yeah the manual transmission and diesel would be nice but that 2UZ is an amazing engine
